Of course we cannot guarantee the weather conditions, but at only 500km south of the Arctic circle the winters usually sees a lot of snow. In this area, where you can experience a magical white Christmas, you also find a 1000km of snowmobiletracks.

Crosscountry ski tracks can be found all over the area and we are less then 40 minutes from Järvsöbacken, a well known middle sized downhill ski area which opens from late November until the end of March.

Also in Järvsö is the unique and superb wildlife centre of Järvzoo

Where along a 3km long boardwalk visitors can enjoy the wildlife of the area in an environment as close to its natural habitat as possible. From hedgehogs, birds and ants to bear, lynx and wolf the centre is open all year round.
